I am currently a postdoctoral research fellow at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) with the Ideation Lab. I am also a member of the faculty at the College of Computer and Information Sciences at King Saud University (KSU). My research interests can be classified within two main umbrellas, human-computer interaction and distributed systems at the Human-Computer Interaction Lab at King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and the Smart Distributed Systems research group at KSU, respectively.
My interests in HCI include cognitive modelling, user experience (UX) design, and visualization. Under the umbrella of distributed systems, I explore the design of multiple agent environments to model and sustain their communication, knowledge, and decision-making processes. I have also dabbled in the application of artificial intelligence in the design of balancing solutions for evacuation plans considering wide-ranging variables.
